Nature – A peak at the design & architecture

Nature – A peak at the design & architecture

Nestled in the picturesque pocket of Maroochydore’s Cotton Tree, construction has commenced on Cube Developments’ luxurious Nature project.

Comprising 12 residences that span over eight storeys, Nature is set to be a jewel in the crown along The Esplanade. With all but one snapped up, the last remaining apartment is a full-floor home, yet to be released to the market.

Wellness-driven design

Designed by Cottee Parker Architects, Nature boasts a host of opulent amenities including a lap pool, private dining, gym, sauna and steam room, yoga lawn, gardens and sun lounging areas.

In a United Nations report it was estimated that by 2050, 68 per cent of people will be living in urban areas, up from 56 per cent today. In addition, with the rise in the number of people in hybrid working arrangements, the accessibility of wellness amenities has become increasingly important in fostering a sense of community in a remote world.

Designed by Nature

Embedded in biophilic ideologies, nature and greenery have been a major focus throughout the design process. Sitting high above the Maroochy River, surrounded by green parkland and ever-shifting tidal sand bars, the property is immersed in the natural landscape. This is brought further into the residences with a luscious nature space on the ground floor and pockets of greenery on each level, recognising the intrinsic need for people to feel connected to the natural world – a desire that is proven to improve physical and mental health, fitness, and well-being.
